The Turnaround

It all started with a true luxury problem: Polo players wanted to wear their watch also during the game. However, the watch glasses often didn’t withstand the challenges of this exciting sport. Jaeger-LeCoultre answered their call for help and came up with an ingenious idea: a little flip that provides protection. You simply turn the case over and hide the dial. The name: Reverso, Latin for “I turn”. It’s as simple as that!

Timeless Icon and Trend Setter

There’s no doubt about it. Jaeger-LeCoultre created a true icon with the Reverso. Invented in the heyday of Art Déco, it unmistakably bears the design elements of the late 1920s and has become one of the most famous watch models during the last 90 years.
